The Hope For A Better Future For You & Your Loved One With Dementia.

A Note From Me

If you’re here, something in your life has likely changed.

Maybe you’re noticing things in someone you love that don’t feel quite right.
Maybe you already have a diagnosis… and everything feels uncertain.
Or maybe you’re in it—day to day—trying to hold onto the relationship while things continue to shift.

I want you to know this:

You’re not alone. And you’re not meant to figure this out on your own.

Over the years, I’ve sat with families in very real moments—
in living rooms, in care communities, and in conversations that are often filled with love…
and also confusion, grief, and even guilt.

I’ve seen the heartbreak, the fear, and the exhaustion.
But I’ve also witnessed something extraordinary:

Families discovering resilience, love, and even moments of joy
in the midst of the hardest circumstances.

And what I’ve seen—again and again—is this:

When you begin to understand, even just a little… everything shifts.

Conversations feel lighter.
Reactions soften.
And you start to reconnect with the version of yourself you want to be—
the one who is patient, steady, and loving.

That’s the work I care most about.

How This Work Took Shape

My path into dementia care didn’t begin with a program.
It began with people.

Early in my career, I worked in senior living communities, where I saw firsthand how deeply dementia affects not just the individual—but the entire family.
Over time, my work expanded.
I led memory care communities.
I trained teams.
I worked alongside physicians and researchers.
I contributed to programs that shaped how dementia care was delivered more broadly.
I’ve written books.
I’ve taught and spoken internationally—including in China, Hong Kong, and Canada.
And I’ve spent thousands of hours with families navigating this journey in real time.

But through all of it, one belief never changed:

Care is not just about managing symptoms.
It’s about understanding… and relationship.
